Drawn from journeys across Australia’s vast interior, Western Wanderer captures the quiet strength and understated beauty of the land. It reflects a landscape shaped by dry seasons, where time slows, and resilience becomes part of the rhythm.

The rearing horses evoke a sense of movement and freedom  a connection to the open road and the pull of distant horizons. Sculptural cactuses stand as enduring forms, refined yet rugged, embodying life that persists with quiet confidence.

Framing the composition, sinuous snakes introduce a subtle tension a reminder of the land’s untamed edge and the instinctive balance required to move through it. Scorpions woven throughout the design add a deeply personal element , inspired by the Scorpio star sign, they symbolise protection, intuition, resilience, and the quiet power carried by those shaped by experience and instinct.

Horseshoes appear as considered details, symbols of a deeper, earned sense of luck tied to place and experience. At its centre, the sun remains constant — a grounding force that shapes both landscape and journey.
