The story behind it :
This piece shows the importance of friends, and how best friends, old friends, new friends and mutual friends can all be connected and surprise us in unexpected ways.
Lots of symbols for “meeting place” are connected with one another in this artwork, representing the different friendship groups we make in our lifetime and how certain friendships can shape who we are, significantly.
I’ve created patterns that can resemble flowers to take inspiration of the famous quote, “if friends were flowers, I’d pick you”.
