The Story Behind It:
My mother’s Country is a collection of Indigenous pieces inspired from our mother’s country. We grew up strong on country with two identities, one from our father and one from our mother, we want to pay respect to our mother by displaying the colours of her country Kalkadoon Country. The stories you will see the journeys of meeting places and people coming together, the colours radiate the landscape of the browns during the summer time. Our lore (Indigenous customary system), our culture, our country keep us safe.

Each throw is thoughtfully designed on the front, while the reverse side forms naturally during the weaving process. We don’t choose or customise the back—it’s simply the backing of the woven fabric, often showing a softer, inverted version of the design. A little detail that makes every piece unique.
